Often this comes down to the base. The most cutting edge technology is knowns as “Second Skin Semi Permanent Hairpieces”. There are many advantages of this over thick PU bases, mono bases and lace bases.
Most importantly they are natural looking, easy to maintain and clean, and long lasting. While there are many base types available we only recommend the most modern Second Skin base as a fantastic natural looking hairloss solution.

For clients who want to still have the appearance of a receded hairline and very thin density we also offer "Discrete by Replique", which is on a very thin membrane. While it doesn't have the longevity of the classic Replique hairpieces, many of our hair piece clients in Sydney prefer to have their first hairpiece as a very thin and receded style, to then gradually move towards a fuller (but natural) hairline hairpiece over time.

Im really active, what is the best hair piece base type for me?
We've worked out the best hair pieces bases for Australian guys with active lifestyles. Before we had fully bonded hair pieces the only options where hair toupees and wigs that we clipped in or sewn into the hair. Now many prefer the experience of being able to swim, gym, shower and sleep in their hair piece as it is fully bonded. Replique hair pieces are Second Skin technology, we don't use thick bases or lace as it is difficult to clean and can become itchy. Instead our hair pieces are sculpted to the scalp for an amazing bond.
